Activity Data
Activity data is linked to a specific session, unlike daily data which is linked to a given day.
1. Configuration
On each data card, the button allows you to configure the data.
The button(s) allow(s) you to add custom data.
2. Display of "Scales"
Data of type (dimension) "scale" are those that allow you to enter subjective data.
For each scale, you can choose the display mode:
- a slider without value display. This is the default mode in Slek because studies have proven that this is the least biased way to enter subjective data.
- a slider from 1 to 100 with value display
- a slider from 1 to 10 with value display
- a slider from 1 to 5 with value display
3. Opposite Description
In Slek, this subjective data is often displayed in a radar chart.
In these charts, a full radar (with high values on each axis) is often associated with positive data.
If we collected stress for example, a high value would be negative. In the radar chart we would need to invert the interpretation so that a low value is positive. So in Slek we prefer to talk about "serenity" rather than stress, so that a full chart is always positive.
If this naming bothers you, you can switch to an "inverted" scale with an opposite description: serenity will be called stress and the chart will be more difficult to interpret... but after all, you're the one who will read it so we let you choose.
If after a few weeks, you change your mind one way or the other, you don't lose any data: internally Slek manipulates and stores a serenity value on a scale of 1 to 100. Everything else is just display.
4. Custom Data
Premium feature
In Slek, you can create the data you want.
This can be:
- objective data (like time spent on TikTok, measured by your phone),
- subjective data (like the desire to move in the morning when waking up, or the need to go to bed in the evening)
For each data you create, you must define:
- a name
- a dimension (distance, duration, "scale" ...)
- if it's a value that needs to be tracked independently by sport (like HR max for example).
