For clubs

Slek, the software that makes training and athlete tracking simpler for clubs

Sharing Tuesday night's workout has never been this easy: you publish it once, and it lands on the watch of everyone who joins.

Training squads

Tuesday night's workout, shared without the hassle

You create your club’s squad, your members join it, and that is that: every workout you publish reaches them as an invitation. They answer “Join” or “Decline”, they can change their mind, and you only plan once, for everyone.

Guided workouts

You draw the workout, it goes out to the watches

Warm-up, effort, recovery, repeated block, cool-down: you grab the blocks and drop them into the diagram. Set the targets as a percentage (of VO2max speed, of max heart rate, of FTP) and everyone runs the same workout at their own level. It then goes out to the watch or the bike computer of everyone who joins, and they know where they are in the set even when you are not standing behind them.

Why choose the Slek training platform for your club?

Training squad

The whole club gets the workouts

  • You create the squad, you pass around the link to join it (email, the club’s WhatsApp group) and nobody has to be invited one by one.
  • Every published workout arrives as an invitation: “Join” or “Decline”, and anyone can change their mind.
  • You see how many people have accepted each workout.
  • Moving the workout, or changing the set? Every copy follows, without you having to warn a soul.
  • You can even create one squad for the juniors and another for the adults if they train at different times.

Privacy

The squad shares the workout, not everyone's data

  • A squad coach never reads anyone’s training data: no activities, no statistics, no personal calendar. They plan, they offer, full stop.
  • A member sees nothing of the other members, not even the list. The member who also runs on Sunday just for themselves has nothing to put on show for the club.
  • The result: you send your workouts to 100 members without asking anyone to open up their training log.
  • Want to follow someone closely? That goes through individual coaching, which sits perfectly alongside the squad.

Guided workouts

Leave your whistle in the changing room!

  • The workout is sent to the watch (or the bike computer) of everyone who joins: no more “was it 3 sets or 4?” shouted across the track.
  • The graphical builder: you drop your blocks into a diagram and you see straight away what the workout looks like, totals included.
  • Set the targets as a percentage (of VO2max speed, of max heart rate, of heart rate at the anaerobic threshold, of FTP) rather than as an absolute pace: you write one workout, everyone runs it at their own level.
  • One last instruction just before the workout? Your comment goes out as a notification to everyone who accepted the invitation.
  • The squad has its own season plan, its races and its calendar notes: enough to build a real group dynamic.

The club budget

A single Premium subscription keeps the squad alive

  • Joining a squad, accepting or declining a workout: that is free for your members, they have nothing to subscribe to.
  • Creating the squad takes one single Premium subscription, and the squad stays active as long as at least one of its coaches is Premium.
  • The club itself pays nothing: no licence, no per-athlete fee, no hidden cost.

Personal support

For your juniors and your elites, you go further

  • The squad is for everyone. But in a club there is always a small group you really follow: the juniors in the competition group, your elites, the one preparing for her first marathon.
  • For them, you switch to individual coaching: you see their completed workouts, their load, how they feel, their availability, and you build their season case by case.
  • The same athlete lives happily in both worlds: they get the squad workout on Tuesday night, and their own plan for the rest of the week.
  • Several coaches can support them at the same time (club, sports programme at school, regional group), and each one sees the load added by the others before placing a workout.
  • Those athletes take a Premium subscription, and you carry on coaching for free: it still costs the club nothing.

Built for volunteer coaches

  • Coach more people without drowning: handle dozens of athletes, even when you have no time to give to each one.
  • Shared workouts for club training: anyone who misses the workout can catch up on it, instructions and stats included.
  • No sign-up paperwork: the squad is joined with a plain link.
  • An overview of the athletes you follow, all of them at once or group by group: spot quickly who is doing too much, who is doing too little, and step in before it goes wrong.
  • No cost for the club: only the athlete who wants the advanced features pays for a subscription.

In short

Sharing Tuesday night’s workout has never been this easy: you publish it, everyone says whether they are coming, and it lands on their watch. Your club coaches better, with a free tool, and everyone keeps their own data to themselves!

Frequently asked questions about clubs and squads

How do you share a workout with every member of a club?

You create a training squad for your club, and your members join it with a link you pass around however you like: by email, in the club's WhatsApp group, on the noticeboard. From then on, every workout you publish reaches them automatically as an invitation, which they answer with “Join” or “Decline”. You plan once, for everyone, and if you edit the workout or move it, every copy follows.

Can the other squad members see my training?

No, and that is a design principle, not a setting. A member sees nothing of the other members, not even the list. And the squad coaches themselves never read anyone's training data: no activities, no statistics, no personal calendar. They plan and they offer workouts, that is all. If you want a coach to really follow your progress, that is Slek's individual coaching, and it requires your explicit consent.

How many subscriptions does it take to equip a club?

Just one. Joining a squad, accepting or declining a workout and getting it on your watch is free for your members: they have nothing to subscribe to. Only creating the squad takes a Premium subscription, and the squad stays active as long as at least one of its coaches is Premium. The club itself pays nothing: no licence, no per-athlete fee, no hidden cost. A member who wants to go further (detailed analysis, individualized workouts, a personal season plan) takes Premium for themselves, and that is their own choice.

Which watches does the workout land on?

Slek sends guided workouts to Garmin, Suunto and Coros watches, and to Wahoo and Hammerhead Karoo bike computers. The member has nothing to do: they accept the workout in Slek, and it is there when they head out. Their watch then guides them step by step. They always know where they are in the set, even if they start ten minutes after everyone else.

Coaches are what make your club work

With Slek, your coaches can plan, track and fine-tune every workout. See how they can get more out of their teams while saving time and easing their mental load!

Release notes: July 2026

It has been busy at Slek since June, with two new features that change quite a lot: training squads and a graphical builder for guided workouts. Until now Slek offered individual coaching: one coach, one athlete, complete monitoring. That is perfect for personal support, but far too much for a club that simply wants to send Tuesday night's workout to its members […]
