Slek, the app built with, and for, sports coaches

Keep a clear overview of every athlete you coach

The groups page gives you a compact but precise view of all the athletes you coach.

Overview of every athlete in a Junior group on a single page

Base your decisions on clear data

Precise, customisable charts let you analyse the data in depth. Objective data and subjective data alike.

Load statistics (Foster, TRIMP) and time in each heart rate zone in Slek

Save time and mental load

No complicated menus to work through: everything is laid out so you reach the information that matters quickly. And you no longer have to chase your athletes for it, Slek does the chasing for you.

Slek workout library: dragging a workout into the plan

Draw the workout, it goes to the watch

You drop in the blocks of your workout and see straight away what it looks like. You set the targets as a percentage (of VO2max speed, max heart rate, FTP) and Slek converts them for each athlete, before sending the workout to their watch.

The Slek guided workout builder: warm-up, a block repeated twice and cool-down, shown as coloured bars

Slek for coaches

Coach for free!

  • No hidden fees, no limit on the number of athletes. You can start coaching today, even on a small budget.
  • Your athlete takes out the Premium subscription, never you: the details are on the pricing page.

Manage several athletes at a glance

  • Switch from one athlete to another in 2 clicks. No time wasted!
  • And you still get an overview of all your athletes.

Plan the season precisely, and easily

  • A clear spreadsheet view: macro, meso and micro cycles. You define the season plan, then adjust it easily as reality sets in.
  • Customisable training facets: for each athlete you choose what to work on in each cycle. Speed, strength, endurance… or swimming, cycling, running, strength work?

Plan the week with a proper overview

  • Smart time slots: morning, midday, evening… just right for athletes doing 2 or 3 workouts a day.
  • Availability in plain sight: you see when your athlete is free, which avoids workouts planned at the wrong moment.
  • Season goals in context: every week and every workout fits into an overall strategy.
  • The workout library one click away: no need to reinvent everything each time.
  • Draft mode: take your time planning, publish when you are ready.
  • Planned workouts (light colour) vs completed ones (dark colour): see at a glance what the athlete did against what you had planned.
  • Per-workout stats: effort completed vs expected, how it felt… and instant access to deeper statistics.
  • Weekly statistics by sport: filter by discipline to check the balance you are after, split or merge similar sports (road cycling + mountain biking…) in one click.
  • Notes for the day: races, holidays, pain, appointments… everything is visible so you can adapt the plan.

Workout library

Your training collection, properly organised!

  • Very fast search: by name, duration, effort or tags (VO2max speed, strength, …). Combine the filters to find exactly what you need.
  • The last-used date keeps your training varied: your athlete never gets the same workout twice in quick succession.

Guided workouts on the watch

You can build all of it, with a really simple editor!

  • A graphical editor: you drop and move the blocks of your workout (warm-up, effort, recovery, repetitions) and see straight away what it looks like. The totals recalculate as you build, so you know immediately whether it fits into the hour.
  • Nothing is missing: % of VO2max speed, FTP or max heart rate, effort zones and even RPE… Steps set by duration, by distance, or ending on the LAP button for an open warm-up or track laps.
  • The workout then goes to your athlete’s watch, which tells them exactly where they are in their second set (for example, “8th 30/30 out of 10”).
  • The chart and the text are two views of the same workout: start with the mouse, finish on the keyboard if that is quicker for you!
  • And the rest of the description follows: quick formatting, and YouTube links (“How do I do a Bulgarian split squat?”) that your athletes can watch full screen, on their phone as well as on their computer.

Check-ins

Less chasing, better feedback

  • Drop a check-in whenever you want: the athlete sees it as a workout in their calendar and gets reminders to answer, without you having to do anything about it, so you can count on their feedback at the moment you need it.

Group management

Organise your athletes however you like!

  • Create groups easily: juniors, women, triathletes, pros…
  • Each athlete can belong to several groups (for example triathlete + woman + pro).

Share a workout

Instantly, to 1 or to 100 athletes!

  • Send a workout to a single athlete… or to a whole group. It saves a huge amount of time, especially when you have to change it afterwards!
  • You can still choose to individualise a workout you have shared.
  • And for everyone you do not coach individually (club members, the Tuesday night crowd), there is the training squad: they join with a link, each workout reaches them as an invitation, and you never see their data.

Overview of all your athletes

You know where you stand… at a glance!

  • Stats over 14 days (or more): spot quickly who needs attention.
  • Clear statuses: who “has entered their availability”, who “has filled in their check-in”, who “has workouts planned until 15/06”… you know exactly where you stand.

Advanced statistics per athlete

Clear and visual

  • Load charts: Foster or TRIMP, with:
    • A recommended range (ACWR 0.8–1.3), easy to read, so you can check the load builds up gradually.
    • The monotony index to spot injury risk.
  • Volume and RPE trends: you see whether the athlete is progressing… or burning out.
  • And plenty of other charts you can dig into to find the workout or the week behind that surprising spike. Charts you can actually act on!
  • In an instant you switch period to see the current season, the previous one or the month, you filter by sport, you group similar sports or not (to put mountain biking and road cycling together, for instance)…

AI assistant and MCP connector

Plug your own AI assistant into your data

  • Slek comes with an AI-based coaching assistant, billed per use on a prepaid basis: you pay the cost of the requests plus a small margin, with no plan forced on you.
  • Already have a Claude or a Mistral subscription? You plug it into your Slek account with the MCP connector (Model Context Protocol), and your own requests foot the bill, with nothing extra to pay on our side.
  • You then query your data in plain language from your assistant: an athlete’s load over six weeks, the workouts still waiting to be rescheduled, the draft of a preparation block.
  • As things stand, ChatGPT does not allow this kind of connection. Setting up the connector is documented step by step.
Slek weekly plan: even a very busy week stays readable

In short

You manage several athletes, you plan intelligently, you analyse in depth, even if you only have 2 athletes for now… all without paying for a complicated piece of software.

Slek, the software that really does make a coach’s life simpler!

You coach, and you are tired of choosing between apps that often turn out to be awkward and a poor fit for the way you train people, and spreadsheets that are more customisable but hard to build and to use, on a phone in particular?

Good news. Slek is the app designed for you: it helps you follow your athletes’ progress and lets you build training programmes to measure.

Sports coaches were part of our team before Slek even existed, and they told us what they needed and what got in their way. The aim? To build an app that makes the exchanges between athletes and their coaches flow more easily.

Picture a platform that brings together every piece of data, objective and subjective: statistics, performances, fitness and progress tracking, all a few clicks away. No more paper or complicated spreadsheets. The app lets you tailor each training programme to the needs of each athlete, while keeping an eye on how they are developing through detailed reports. You can also talk to your athletes easily, send them advice and adjust workouts based on their feedback.

It is simple, practical and really effective. At Slek, we set ourselves the goal of giving you an app that is both very complete and genuinely simple to use.

Frequently asked questions from coaches

Does Slek cost anything for a coach?

No. Slek is free for coaches: a Free account is all you need to coach, however many athletes you follow. The athlete is the one who takes out the Premium subscription, at €60 incl. VAT per year, and a club has no licence and no plan to pay for.

How many athletes can you follow with Slek?

There is no limit on the number of athletes, and the price does not change with volume. You organise your athletes into groups (juniors, women, triathletes), the same athlete can belong to several groups, and an overview shows you on a single screen who has filled in their check-in, who has entered their availability and how far ahead their workouts are planned.

Can you send a workout to your athlete’s watch?

Yes. You build the workout in a graphical editor by dropping in blocks (warm-up, effort, recovery, repeated block, cool-down), you set the targets as a percentage of VO2max speed, max heart rate or FTP, in zones or in RPE, and Slek converts them into pace or watts for each athlete. The workout then goes out to Garmin, Suunto and Coros watches, and to Wahoo and Hammerhead Karoo computers.

Can several coaches follow the same athlete?

Yes, and Slek is built for it: a young athlete can be coached at the same time by their club, their school sports programme and their regional group. Each coach places their own workouts and sees the load added by the others, which avoids the accidentally overloaded week that you usually only notice afterwards.

Can you plug your own AI assistant into Slek?

Yes, with the MCP connector (Model Context Protocol). If you already have a Claude or a Mistral subscription, you connect it to your Slek account and query your training data from your assistant: your own requests foot the bill. Slek also has a built-in assistant, billed per use on a prepaid basis. As things stand, ChatGPT does not allow this kind of connection.

Release notes: July 2026

It has been busy at Slek since June, with two new features that change quite a lot: training squads and a graphical builder for guided workouts. Until now Slek offered individual coaching: one coach, one athlete, complete monitoring. That is perfect for personal support, but far too much for a club that simply wants to send Tuesday night's workout to its members […]
