Release notes: March 2026

Features

Plenty of new things again at the start of March.

📅 Template weeks for your schedule

Tired of filling in your availability from scratch every week? Not any more. You can now save your template weeks and apply them in a couple of clicks. Rename them, delete them, manage your template weeks however you like.

🚴 Importing FIT files from the calendar

Drag and drop your .fit or .fit.gz file straight onto the calendar and your activity is imported. You can also do it from the menu, which is easier on a phone.

✅ Read receipts on comments

Wondering whether your comment had been read? Now you know. An indicator tells you whether your comment has been marked as read. Click it to see who has read it and who is still lagging behind. You also get a notification when your comment is marked as read.

Note: in Slek it is up to the reader to mark a comment as read, which avoids the “displayed but not really read” effect and lets you shift the meaning to “taken on board”.

📧 Warning emails before your subscription expires

No more nasty surprises: you get email reminders 15 days, 7 days and 1 day before your subscription or trial period expires.

For monthly subscriptions, if the renewal fails we let you know so you can update your payment method. To avoid the unpleasant surprises some of you ran into, that renewal now happens 48 hours before expiry, which gives you time to react. It does mean you need to plan a little further ahead if you want to cancel a monthly subscription.

Release notes: July 2026

It has been busy at Slek since June, with two new features that change quite a lot: training squads and a graphical builder for guided workouts. Until now Slek offered individual coaching: one coach, one athlete, complete monitoring. That is perfect for personal support, but far too much for a club that simply wants to send Tuesday night's workout to its members […]
